Maragheh granite, with its grayish-purple tone, fine grain, and very low porosity, possesses all the characteristics of a durable granite stone. Key features of Maragheh granite include very high strength, low water absorption, and a uniform appearance. For this reason, it is widely used in commercial, administrative, industrial, and residential projects for flooring as well as exterior and interior facades. Maragheh granite is processed in both polished and flamed finishes. This granite does not have significant grading variations; however, lower-grade selections may contain black spots, commonly referred to as "nodes.”
